Outside Sales Representative - Arizona Territory

Role Description:

We are looking for an outside sales representative to successfully sell electrical/lighting products to electrical distributors and market our products to electrical contractors. We are looking for candidates with experience in the construction industry, preferably with electrical and lighting products. ASA Electrical Solutions seeks individuals who are self-motivated, eager to learn, detail oriented, and extremely sales driven.

 

Experience & Skill Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience in electrical, construction or related field.

  • Proven independent performer with track record of beating attainable sales targets.

  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Power Point)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detailed oriented.

  • Highly organized and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to successfully build strong relationships within the industry.

  • Ability to make daily contractor calls and electrical distributor visits.

  • Assist with the decision of product selection and finding solutions for customers.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but will also consider industry experience in lieu of degree.

  • A valid driver’s license.

Role Description:

  • Significant B2B Inside Sales experience with a proven track record of delivering great customer service. 

  • Efficiently able to enter and organize orders, submit requests, and follow up.

  • The ability to consult and work with our customer base and build long lasting working relationships.

  • Tech Savvy working with Office 365 and a handful of business platforms

  • Able to thrive and push others to thrive in a team environment.

  • Have a basic knowledge of the electrical industry.

 Responsibilities:

  • Answer emails, phones, price and availability, and enter customer orders

  • Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication

  • Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries

  • Use excellent written and oral communications and best practices in customer service when interacting with customers

  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities with management and sales team
